Join us at Adventures With Elephants for our first Mystery Movie Night Fundraiser — an unforgettable evening where the water becomes your cinema seat and the Bushveld night sets the scene.
Start the evening with sundowners with the elephants, enjoy something from the snack bar or food stall, then grab your floatation or tubes and float into position as the big screen comes to life on the water, cash & cards accepted.
It’s all in support of the care and conservation of our elephants, so every ticket helps make a difference. This is a fully immersive conservation fundraising event and space is limited.

🐘 Event Flow (The Magic of the Evening)
17:30 – Arrival & Elephant Sundowners
Guests arrive and gather at the Meet & Greet centre overlooking the dam.
Enjoy sunset drinks while elephants come down to the water for their evening routine.
18:00 – Sunset
18:20 – Float Launch & Movie Setup
Guests move to the designated launch area where staff will assist with entry onto the water.
Glow visibility rings issued.
Safety briefing conducted.
±18:30 – Movie Begins
As darkness settles, the floating cinema comes alive.
Relax on your float and enjoy a unique conservation cinema experience beneath the stars.
20:30–21:30 – Movie Ends & Food stalls & Bar Opens
Guests return to shore.
Food stalls, Bar and social time open after the movie around standing fires.

Floatation Size guideline:
You must be able to carry it yourself and fit it through a standard doorway.
Pre Ordered Floating Tubes / Truck inner tubes will be available.
Please book tubes in advance.
Depending on your floatation you will likely get wet and be on or in the water for the duration of the movie.

1. Indemnity must be signed online or on arrival before participation.
2. You must be able to swim.
3. This is a controlled water event — follow all staff instructions.
4. Glow rings must be worn for visibility on & in the water.
5. Safety crew and lifeguards will be on duty throughout.
6. No alcohol before or during the movie (bar opens after).
7. Right of admission reserved.
8. No drugs, weapons or dangerous behaviour tolerated.

· Light rain (no Lightening): Movie continues on the dam.
· Light rain (lightening): movie moves to covered deck (limited seating)
· Heavy rain: event postponed to following evening or next month
· Tickets valid for postponed date or future movie night
· Alternatively exchange for an elephant interaction or donate your ticket to the elephants.
