By undertaking in an Elephant Activity you realise that the elephants are “Big Five” animals with their own brain, instincts and hormones, and as such there are inherent risks associated with such an activity. You understand that Adventures With Elephants will do their level best
to ensure your safety and comfort but due to the nature of this activity neither Adventures With Elephants, or its shareholders, management or staff can be held liable for any damage to, or loss of property as well as any injury to, or death of persons. As such you understand that you undertake these activities at your own risk.

Adventures With Elephants reserve all rights to alter or cancel elephant activities at their discretion and without prior notice, particularly for elephant welfare and client safety or comfort reasons.

Activity times are approximate and may be shorter or longer than the times stipulated on marketing material.

Some Elephant Activities are seasonal or affected by the weather please check the weather before your activity.

The elephant activities are mostly suited to all, though Adventures With Elephants reserves the right to alter times and activities to suit clients abilities and needs.

Safety procedures are explained in detail. It is compulsory to sign the AWE indemnity before partaking in any elephant activity.

AWE is a conservation conscious company and hopes to teach you more about elephant and the value of our natural resources, thus you may not book to do only a Safari, Nature Walk, or Bathe without first familiarizing yourself with the elephants in a unique AWE hands-on
interaction.

Ages of Children and Adult subsequent participation in activities are advertised on the marketing material.

Cancellation and Refund policy:
Please note that only cancellations received in writing will be accepted or on the day of the booking directly with an AWE member of staff. (Please note the name and responsible position of the person you spoke to as well as the time and date of your call.)

Please be aware that all elephant activities provided by AWE are subject to elephant behaviour, hormones and instincts and or weather conditions, and that Adventures With Elephants reserve the right to cancel or alter elephant activities should we deem it necessary for either human or elephant welfare, safety reasons or otherwise.

Should AWE cancel an activity before it commences we will endeavour to reschedule your elephant activity or repay the whole amount.

Should AWE cancel an elephant activity during the activity for safety reasons including inclement weather then AWE will repay 50% of the total amount.

Should an guest cancel an elephant activity during the activity then the guest will not be entitled to a refund.

Refunds due to off-site incident, illness or inclement weather – should the activity not be rescheduled then a voucher will be issued for the full amount of your ticket purchase redeemable (not for cash) within 12 months from the date of your scheduled activity, no cash refund. The digital gift card / voucher will be emailed to you for your future use.

Should a guest be asked to leave AWE for misbehaviour, drunkenness, the use of illegal substances or otherwise they will not be entitled to a refund. We reserve the right to terminate your activity without refund should you upset, disturb or otherwise act negatively towards any people, animals or infrastructure. Should you damage or destroy any property or injure maim or kill any person or animal you will be liable for damages.

Should a cancellation be received and confirmed prior to 72 hours (3 days) of the commencement of the elephant activity, the payment will be refunded minus a 10% admin fee.

Bookings cancelled between 72 and 24 hours (between 3 days and 1 day) of the commencement of the elephant activity will be charged 50% of the total cost.

Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the commencement of the elephant activity will be charged
100% of the total cost.

No-shows or late arrivals will incur 100% of the total cost.

Special tickets, vouchers or Promotions are non-refundable for cash.

In cases where a client/guest will not sign a witness may sign instead.

This includes all promotional, group, pensioner, and other discounts.

Promotional Discounts:

Guests are eligible to claim only one promotional discount per promotional period.

Promotional offers cannot be combined. Only one promotional discount per person is allowed.

Discount offers are only valid for the specified period and cannot be claimed retroactively.

It is the guest’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with promotional and other offers. The Adventures With Elephants team is not responsible for informing guests about these offers.
