The Foundation of Every Connection

This is where your journey begins.

Our 1 Hour Educational Experience offers an immersive introduction to the elephants and the world they inhabit. Guided by our experienced Elephant Care Team, you will spend meaningful time alongside the herd — learning about their behaviour, communication, intelligence and unique personalities.

You will engage hands-on in a calm, respectful environment while gaining insight into how elephants think, feel and interact.

For many guests, this hour becomes a moment they never forget.

To ensure you arrive on time, please allow approximately 1 hour travel time from Bela-Bela to AWE due to ongoing roadworks.

Help Us Feed Our Gentle Giants

When you book your Elephant Experience, you can choose to add a bale of hay (R160) or a bag of pellets (R350) to help feed our incredible elephants. Every contribution goes directly toward the care and wellbeing of our beloved elephants. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference.
